Not a PPE
PPE REGULATION
The European regulation 2016/425 gives us the following definition:
Equipment designed and manufactured to be worn or held by a person for protection against one or more risks to that person’s health or safety (An interchangeable component or a connexion system for equipment is also a PPE).
EYEWEAR AND FACE PROTECTION
This standard was revised in November 2001, and is dated September 1995.
This standard specifies, among other things, the mandatory marking of stems (or goggle masks) and lenses.
This standard (together with EN168) also specifies the tests for mechanical resistance of equipment.
