Part 2: Requirements and test methods for non-ventilated protective clothing against particulate radioactive contaminationn

This document specifies the requirements and test methods for non-ventilated protective clothing that protects the wearer against particulate radioactive contamination.

This type of garment is designed to protect only the wearer's body, arms and legs, but may be used with accessories that protect other parts of the wearer's body (e.g. boots, gloves, respiratory protection device - APR).

Protection methods for these other components are specified in other European standards.

This document does not apply to protection against ionising radiation or to the protection of patients against contamination by radioactive substances resulting from medical diagnosis and/or treatment.
