EN 12477: 2001 + A1: 2005

Protective glove for welders

  

   
(type A ou type B)

They are classified in two types:

Type A:  gloves with less dexterity but higher performance

Type B:  gloves with more dexterity but low performance

 

The gloves must have a minimum length appropriate to their size (340 mm, for example for size 10).

Depending of the classification, they must meet different requirements of the standards EN 420, EN 388 and EN 407.

This standard does not cover protective gloves for special welding processes.
